A Wedding in New York City, Destination Wedding Photographer: Michelle & Martyn
I recently had the opportunity to photograph an Elopement and be a massive part of a destination wedding in New York City!
I love my job. Everyone I meet knows I LOVE my job. I get to be surrounded by love and happienss and no matter how bad things get in life you are assured an amazing day surrounded by amazing people.
So when I met Michelle, with thanks to Kerry Baker not only did I get the chance to meet an amazing breath taking bride, I met a kindred spirit and soul mate. It is amazing how much our lives mirror each others down to the last detail, and only now have we crossed paths.
This woman is an inspiration to many. A CEO of her own business helping those who suffer with numerous problems involving chronic pain and physical and mental injuries as well as being an amazing mother to two beautiful children.
I was honored to be asked to fly over to New York, New York to photograph this beautiful elopement in secret. Nobody else knew except myself and one other person. So it was an amazing secret. I even got to be one of the witnesses which was another honour I had bestowed upon me.
I am so proud of the images I have created in a city I have never been to before with a couple I hardly knew but have grown to love. It goes to show a good photographer can work magic no matter what the circumstances and boy oh boy did we work some amazing Magic!!
