A Wedding at Belmont Hall, Lake District Wedding Photographer: Victoria & Steve
I have had the great pleasure of knowing Victoria for many years now after first meeting her at University during a project trip to Africa in 2010. I then had the pleasure of getting to know her more when we both returned to Africa on a second trip for a different project in 2011 and we have stayed in touch ever since.

I first got to photograph Victorias family when I was asked to shoot her big sister Stephanies wedding to Big Steve at the Hard Days Night Hotel on Friday the 13th 2013! Since then I have photographed Steph and Big Steves little baby girl (happiest baby in the wordl FYI) their cousins beautiful little family before Christms (images coming very soon) and now her very own wedding day to Steve.

The wedding took place at Belmount Hall Wedding Venue in Ambleside. It could not have been a more perfect venue as Victoria has a great passion for Liturature (working in a library and having worked at a university teaching the subject) and with this once being a home of Bertrix Potter it was ideal!

She wore an absolutly stunning Pronovias Bridal Gown accompanied by a gorgous pair of Irregular Choice pink glitter and bow shoes. Combine it with an elegant bird cage veil, dark lips and a pin curl hair style she looked ever bit the vision I thoguht she would and more!

The ceremony was a beautifully intimate event with friends and family surrounding them as they made their vows and readings where read by Stephanie (sister) and a friend from Doctor Who. Celebrations then continued on to outside which turned out to be a perfect winters day with blue skys, crisp fresh air and white fluffy clouds. A suprise Lucky Chimney Sweep dropped by to wish the newly married couple the best of luck in married life and everyone enjoyed cups of warm punch and spiced tea while enjoying the comfort of the venue.

Later on in the evening after the tastey meal and perfectly executed speaches took place (one being Steve showing a video of him, his brother and a friend recreating one of Victorias fave Take That videos) everyone ventured into the adjoining room to play roulette and black jack which was a suprise addition to the day organised by the folks.

All in all it was a fun filled and enjoyed day in an absolutly beautiful venue. I hope you guys enjoy the images as much as I enjoyed shooting this day! Also a big thank you to my bestie second shoot Anesta for coming along and helping me out.
