Technology is a fabulous (albeit addictive) addition to the recording of modern life. The ability to record, photograph and share our special family moments is ready at our finger tips. The problem is it stops us from actually being present at those occasions. We are seeing life through a 5-10 inch screen when really we should be seeing life unfold in full reality, which lets face it, its better then any HD screen.
I also have another thought. Wouldn’t you like the first pictures to be seen of you as man and wife to be the ones you post yourselves? Or even the preview of your chosen photographer? Social media is another beneficial thing to have as we can keep up to date with the daily lives of those who are no longer near us but if you are having every single moment of your big day shared on social media, there will be no surprises for those coming along to the evening. They will already know what you look like when everyone else at the beginning of the day have had that big reveal where they gasp with joy.
So here are the benefits to having an Unplugged wedding, not just for you as Bride and Groom but for your Friends and Family as well.
