I love working with Victoria from Sophisticated Weddings- Italy. Its like visiting a friend who points you in the direction of beautiful things to photograph! One of those things being beautiful couples who choose to get married in Sorrento! One of those couples just happened to be Jo & Josh who chose to get married there after I popped Jo in touch with Vitoria.

Its funny isn’t it? How things from your past randomly drop into your future….The first time I bumped into Jo was at another wedding…It was one of those “Oh my god its you!” kind of moments. We went to primary school together and when Jo left (she’s the year above me) that was that….So when someone recognises you as you’re running around like a headless chicken trying to capture dancing shots you hope they recognise you because of the good things they remember of you!

Since that night (thanks to facebook obviously) we stayed connected and Jo always said “I want you to be my photographer when we get married”. So when Jo and Josh finally decided to name a date I was the first thing to be booked….however, their plans changed and they decided to run off to Italy with 30 of their nearest and dearest….the only thing that didn’t change was the plan to have me as their photographer! How cool did I feel! PROPER COOL!

From giving them help with a wedding planner, an invitation maker and even giving my opinion on which dress she should choose (there where two very beautiful options!) I felt a massive part of helping them with their special day so it was very emotional to watch these two lovelies say I Do as Carmela performed their ceremony.

As always Victoria and her team pulled off a stunning day for this beautiful pair and their two mini me’s Lottie and Cameron. It was everything you would want from a wedding and so much more. I loved capturing the day for them and reconnecting with someone from my distant past.
