I LOVE shooting Weddings at Ashfield House in Ashton. Katie and her team do everything they can to make your day feel special. So when Michelle and Gary came to see me just a mere 11 weeks before their big day, I was very happy that I could shoot for them.
Winter Weddings are something completely different to Weddings that happen the rest of the year. You face different challenges with the light limitation but you get given so many creative opportunities. Â You get to shoot within the venue which would sometimes get forgotten about with everyone being outside and you also get to be a big kid and play with sparklers!! Who doesn’t love a good sparkler!
I not only got to work along side the amazing Ashfield House team but also the team of Ruby Slipper Make Up and Hair. They ensured Michelle and the girls looked the best versions of themselves which made my job such a breeze as they all looked stunning.
Michelle looked every inch the perfect bride in a stunning chapel length veil and matching train. Her dress was the stuff of little girls dreams and the venue was decked out to look as thought it had been picked up from Tuscany and plonked down in the middle of Ashton!
Myself and Phil who came to second shoot for me has such a lovely time shooting for this intimate group of 30 guests. It was such a lovely wedding to end the month of November.
